Viv Kepes asked me to design a short publication to coincide with the opening of her MFA Exhibition at PG Gallery on the 18th February 2019. The book explores the point of research that Kepes has followed during her MFA: Rangitahua (The Kermadec Islands) and the coral bleaching that is occurring there. This book includes a selection of image plates of Kepes’ paintings of the coral samples with accompanying texts by Dr. Andrew Paul Wood, Sheridan Waitai of Ngāti Kuri and Massey scientists Dr. Libby Higgins and Dr. David Aguirre.

Copies of this publication will be available from PG Gallery and from the artist.
