Precisely Arranged and Discarded Matter is the production of the intersection of disciplines in the practice of Daniel Shaskey. Based of the iconic Every Building on the Sunset Strip by Ed Ruscha, it acts as an observational output from the mundane commutes of a Christchurch art student, by thinking about the conscious placement of waste in the desolate city. The book includes a series of eight photographs taken on 35mm film, each with an accompanying observational haiku. Each limited edition has been hand constructed and printed at the Ilam School of Fine Arts..
